I tweaked the layout a little bit...obviously. I like it better now. =) Anyway, we had our last exam today! Yay! I am so glad that the most uninspiring semester ever has finally come to an end! This semester has just been a huge blur. I can't even remember learning anything at all. Maybe it's because we've TONS of class suspension...lemme enumerate the instances wherein classes were suspended in our campus.

  • The A(H1N1) scare. That was for one week.
  • The death of Cory Aquino. A couple of days?
  • The death of the Iglesia ni Cristo founder.
  • The typhoon Ondoy suspension.
  • And hundreds more due to holidays and reasons I can't remember.

It definitely affected our studies. Mostly classes were suspended during Mondays so I can't really remember anything about our subjects for that day which are Internet/Web Application Development, Kasaysayan and the all mighty Physics (lecture). Everything had to be learned in a fast pace which is like WTF. Hopefully next semester would be iun and interesting unlike the previous. Hopefully I'd actually learn things. But anyway, the next few days are the most crucial days. The waiting for the grades part. I AM SO EFFING NERVOUS that I feel like I'm gonna puke just thinking about it. I'm confident that I'd pass System's Analysis and Design, Software Engineering, Internet/Web Application Development and Kasaysayan. Physics however is a different matter. I have never really been good at computations, equations, formulas and the likes so you can only imagine how things were like for me. I'm extra worried about Physics laboratory... =/

Anywayyyyyy...on a happier note. Remember when we went to Enchanted Kingdom a few weeks ago? I bought these...

I'm a total sucker for earrings! I was gonna buy more but I didn't have enough money!

Lolli lolli oh lollipop! How adorable right? Totally 2NE1 Lollipop-ish! Haha! I love the colours!

The rings in action! W is for...wala lang. =))

HELLO SEMBREAK!

God Bless us all. =)

Today's KPop Learnings

Skip if you aren't a KPop fan. =)

So I've recently become quite interested in KPop...well mainly it's just 2NE1 and Big Bang but I've also been keeping tabs on other KPop groups as well (Although I don't listen to their music). Anyway, since I'm all new to the KPop scene I don't really know who's who, what's what and the likes. I guess you can say I'm kind of clueless. Sooo anywayyyyy, today I learned a few things with the help of the intarwebzzz and my friend Joyce. =D

KPop Learning # 1: It's SHINY...get it right.
SHINee is pronounced as "shiny" not "sheenee" as I've been calling them for the past two weeks. And yes with the uppercase S H I N and lowercase e e. I probably wouldn't find out that it's "shiny" if Joyce didn't tell me today at university when I mentioned them to her . But whatevurrrrr I still prefer "sheenee" over "shiny". "Sheenee" sounds manly. Shiny just sounds gay.

KPop Learning # 2: They're kind of the same thing...only they're not.
I've heard about 2PM because of the leader's scandal. I've heard 2AM somewhere along cyberspace...can't remember where exactly and what the news was about...in fact I can't remember anything but their name...anyway...I thought that since 2PM was an all boy group 2AM would be the girl counterpart. And I thought that that was the truth for the past three weeks. Turns out I'm wrong again. 2AM and 2PM are sub-bands of a boy band called One Day. Confused? I was too. If you're not a KPop fan lemme walk you through this...Based from what I've read there's this boy band called One Day and for some reason they decided to split them up into two bands. These two bands are now 2AM and 2PM. So they're kind of like subgroups of One Day. They're like the same thing but not really.

KPop Learning # 3: He's promoting after all.

So according to GDragon and his curly blonde hair the sexy Taeyang will be on Inkigayo next week. This pretty much contradicts YG's previous statement that YB will not be promoting Where U At...but it has been confirmed. YB will be performing on Inkigayo next week! Woohoo! I'm psyched. A lot of fans are kind of annoyed by YG's change of plans but WTH. I don't see what the big deal is! If he's not promoting then it's cool. If he's promoting then better aye?! What difference would it make if YG tells us that Taeyang will be performing or not...we'd all still watch it right? Anyway, even though I don't live in Korea..I'm excited!!! Taeyang + Shaun + Lyle = MAD AWESOME PERFORMANCE.=D

KPop Learning # 4: They're not 700.
There's this KPop boy band called Super Junior. I heard about them through friends who are avid KPop fans since birth. Anyway, saw their photos and found out that there are tons of them! Which is crazy coz how do they divide the attention? I mean geez. Why do they have so many people in one band? Won't it be more convenient to group them into 2s? 3s? 4s? Srsly. Overpopulated much? And it's hard to tell them apart from each other coz...it's just hard. Anyway, I lived for three weeks thinking that Super Junior has 700 something members. Turns out they're only 13. 13 Alex. Not 700. I'm not hating. I just think it's very, very strange that there are 700 13 members in one boy band.

Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah!
MBLAQ is starting to grow on me. Oh Yeah's chorus still makes me laugh though. =D

Click. The. Photos. For. Larger. Version. =)

So. Our block had its third and last recollection last month. It was tons of fun. I learned soooo much about everyone and it was nice seeing everyone open up about themselves and stuff. The best reco we've ever had. Maybe because we learned about each other nga and since our bond is tighter than ever! =) I love 35!

Typhoon Ondoy caused us Lasallians another week of suspension. So instead of bumming around at home during the one week suspension of classes I decided to go volunteer. And this is probably one of the most productive things I've done this year! =) I went my high school friends Kei, Mark, Khatt and her boyfriend Kenjie. We volunteered at Gawad Kalinga. We originally planned on volunteering at Sagip Kapamilya but there were sssoooo many people that they had to stop receiving volunteers for that day. Anyway, it was ssoooo much fun! Tiring too but majorly fun! And we had free food =D. And there were celebs. HAHA! I met Chris Tiu...and most of all I was in the same room with Akihiro FREAKING Sato. The sexy Brazilian-Japanese model. Honestly, Akihiro was not as hot as I thought he'd be (He's actually a bit chubby.?) but I like him still. =)

And I went to Enchanted Kingdom with my blockmates last weekend! It was soo much fun. We've been planning on this since we were first years and finally..now that we're third years. We've done it! Hahaha! Congrats 35! This trip is for our Physics class believe it or not. So thanks Physics... =)

Uhhmm...What else...?

YB!!! How amazing is he? He is basically the man. The shizz. The song is so-so but DAMN... the guy can dance or what? Mad moves. He never fails to amaze me. One thing though...why did he have his shirt on the whole time?! I was waiting for him to flash his killer abs! Hahaha! With a body like that why put a shirt on in the first place anyway? I'm disappointed but it's alright. =)))))

I love him. Seriously do. His dancing makes me feel kilig and all that. =)))) FANGIRL MUCH???

I got finals next week. Wish me all the best in the world.

GOD BLESS.

P.S.
If the new layout's malfunctioning...tell me okayy?
